Personal Interests
In her academic work, Nancy Morioka-Douglas is currently focused on improving care for patients with chronic illness such as diabetes. In addition, she continues her life time commitment to working with underserved communities in her work with schools in East Palo Alto. Finally, she is able to blend these interests in her work in "ethnogeriatrics", the culturally competent care of ethnic elders.
